Focusing on regional history, the Pioneer Trails Regional Museum has a large exhibit on local American Indian culture as well as others focusing on military and ranching history. It is located in northeast Bowman near the scenic Butte View State Park and has a nature trail where visitors can see a variety of local plant life. The museum also has a collection of fossils, ranging from a triceratops skeleton to marine fossils.
